Why do baby teeth matter?

March 30, 2021

❓Why do baby teeth matter?
👉🏻Baby teeth are important for many reasons. Firstly, children use their baby teeth for eating and smiling just like adults!
Baby teeth are used for eating and chewing foods which is important for their daily nutrition. A child with a sore baby tooth will be unable to eat and drink certain foods. This will limit the foods they eat and directly affect their nutrition.
Baby teeth are also really important as they protect the developing adult tooth that is growing beneath them. Baby teeth guide the direction of growth of the adult teeth into the mouth. Baby teeth hold space for the new adult tooth to grow into.
