Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom Tooth Extraction Overview

Wisdom tooth extraction or removal is a common procedure that helps to eliminate the pain caused by problematic wisdom tooth development.

Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt, generally coming through in your late 20’s.  Some people’s jaw can be too small to accommodate the new wisdom teeth comfortably. This is why the development of wisdom teeth commonly causes pain and discomfort that can lead to more serious issues that require wisdom tooth removal.

It is important that they are removed as they can cause severe pain, infections and damage to the surrounding jawbone and teeth.
