County Down native James graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2017 with a degree in Dental Surgery, and after completing his foundation training in Scotland he moved back home in 2019 to be closer to his family. He also holds an Honours degree in Biomedical Science, and is currently completing a Masters in Dental Implantology with the Institute of Clinical Excellence in Manchester.
James has a particular interest in restorative and implant dentistry, and has completed further postgraduate training in dental implants, cosmetic composite bonding, veneers, crowns and bridges.
James joined the Boyne Dental team in June 2022, and believes in giving all his patients a relaxed and friendly experience each time they visit. He prides himself in taking the time to discuss all possible treatment options, ensuring patients are well informed to make the right choice for them.
He is a firm believer in minimally invasive dentistry and helping provide the highest quality of care.
Outside of dentistry James enjoys hiking, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
