PRSI Cover

Go Back To Fees

The Department of Social Protection will pay the full cost of an oral examination and subsidise the cost of a scale and polish, once per calendar year for persons who attend a dentist who is registered on the Department of Social Protection’s panel.  All our dentists are registered on this panel.

To receive this entitlement you must have paid enough PRSI stamps in the previous 24 months.  When making an appointment for an exam with our Patient Care team, please ensure that we have your PPS number on file and we can have your eligibility pre-established for you.  Don’t worry, we will send you a text reminder for this information if we find it has not been recorded.  If you are a dependent spouse or civil partner, you may still be eligible, we can check for you.  Please ensure that we have the PPS number and name of the insured person.  Since March 2017 Self Employed persons may also be eligible.

However, there is also a tax refund of 20% available for advanced dental treatments, including gum treatment visits to our hygienists, which we can organise for you through completing a MED2 form on your behalf.  Any of our Patient Care team can take you through this.

We may also be able to offer further discounts on multiple treatments as well as flexible payment options for advanced work.

Contact a member of our Patient Care Team on 046-9028683 to find out what we can do for you.
