After graduating in 2013 Dr McGibney/David moved to the UK for five years, where he worked first within the National Health Service, completing a one year vocational training programme before moving into private practice.
Since moving back to Ireland David has worked both in private practice and within children’s dentistry in the HSE.
Dr McGibney’s key skills include providing general dental care for anxious and non-anxious adults and children in a caring manner including fillings, crowns and bridges and extractions.
Prevention of dental disease is another area of dentistry that Dr McGibney is very passionate about.
Dr McGibney has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and dental implants .
Since graduating Dr McGibney has undertaken a year long Certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry under the tutelage of the restorative specialist Dr Dominic Hassall.
In 2015 Dr McGibney undertook an 18 month training programme in implant dentistry and is currently studying for The Royal College of Surgeons Diploma in Implant Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry David enjoys rugby, running, cooking and baking and is a big fan of Wexford hurling!
Saranga or Saz as his patients know him, enjoys practicing minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry for his patients. As a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), he incorporates lot of clinical photography into his practice and treatment planning so that you will not only able to see the improvements made but also be provided an idea of the direction and destination with respect to your smile prior to starting this journey.
He has done courses in adult short-term orthodontics (Invisalign, Clear Aligner, Inman aligner therapy), composite veneers bonding with Andy McClean, Enlighten professional whitening, and is
constantly investing to further to advance his training to provide more for his clients.
The treatments he provides and is focused on are designed to provide you with a healthy and
beautiful smile with the aim of keeping your own natural teeth for life as well as optimising oral
He is also qualified in providing non-surgical aesthetics to provide antiwrinkle treatments and dermal fillers.
Ultimately, as a client of his, your priorities will always come first as he dedicates himself to each and every one of his clients’ needs.
Amanda is no stranger to the Boyne Dental team, having worked as a dental nurse in our Navan clinic for many years before deciding to pursue her chosen career in Dental Hygiene.
Amanda qualified as a dental nurse in 2008, working in all areas of dentistry, general and with specialists. She then went on to graduate from UCC in 2019 with a first class honours in dental hygiene.
In her first year at UCC, Amanda won the Palmolive hygiene award for the highest grade. In her second year Amanda was awarded the GlaxoSmithKline: Sensodyne award for the highest grade and in the same year was awarded the Colm O’Sullivan Gold Medal for highest grade in dental hygiene exams in both 1st and 2nd year.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys socialising with friends and crossfit.
Sarah qualified as a dental nurse in 2013 in Drogheda Further Education and loves being a dental nurse.
She is a great asset to our team and is loved by all patients who attend and find her kind and warm nature extremely comforting.
In her free time, Sarah is an avid member of her local ladies running club.
“I have been working in the dental industry for nearly 10 years, 5 years as a dental nurse in both general dentistry and orthodontics and 5 years in dental sales.
Living locally in Dunshaughlin with my husband Philip and our baby girl Emily. In my spare time I have great passion for making and decorating cakes and cupcakes for family and friends.”
Viktorija is on the patient care team at Boyne Dental.
She previously worked as a Montessori teacher for 2 years, she also worked as a Psychiatric Nurse for 5 years and most previously as a manager in hospitality. Viktorija has a range of qualifications ranging from her Bachelors degree in Social Science and on to nursing, childcare, pharmacy assistant and medical secretary course, making her a brilliant asset to the Boyne family.
When asked about her job in Boyne Dental she said “I feel I finally found my place for the future. Delighted and happy. Don’t want to think about any other job for the moment”.
