Associate Dentist – Special Interest – Implants IDC No. 11317
Dr. Musfiruddin Mohammed graduated from University College Cork in 2017 with a first class honours degree. His passion for excelling in dentistry led him to hone his skills working in multiple practices in the United Kingdom. This constituted 4 years in mixed National Health Service (NHS) and Private clinics seeing a diverse array of patients. He has since returned to Ireland to serve the community as he was raised in Lucan, Dublin himself.
In Ireland he has furthered his education, achieving triple qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin featuring a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry, Membership to the RCSI Faculty of dentistry and Membership to the RCSI General Dental Surgery. He is currently achieving greater heights in Oral Surgery and Implantology in Germany, and is involved in research processes and a Masters programme specifically for dental implantology. Whether it be a simple extraction or a surgical wisdom tooth procedure, he is always ready and strongly believes in every patient going through a smooth and calm process from consult to surgery to replacing teeth – especially with Implants, as this is his favourite procedure – giving smiles back to patients !
Besides general dentistry, he has a keen interest in Oral Surgery and dealing with the nervous patient- trying his best to change the “I hate dentists !” stigma. He has undergone further training specifically in the realm of Oral Surgery / Dental Implants with leading implant providers in both the Republic of Ireland and in the UK. He truly believes that the teeth and oral areas in general hugely impact the quality of life and thus strives to rebuild and replace unsightly or lost teeth. The journey starts with a thorough examination, xrays and photos alongside a deep discussion one on one with the patient addressing all concerns, however small. This is all formulated into a treatment plan tailor made to each individual – trust in the process !
Outside of work his hobbies include travelling to new places, football, cricket, and spending some quality time with the family.
