Boyne Dental - COVID Updates

COVID-19 Update 1

March 26, 2020

Dear all,

It has been a very long 10 days trying to get a handle of this crisis with the team at Boyne Dental. The resilience shown by all our staff during this time and understanding of the severity of COVID19 has made us all very proud.

For over a week we have been providing an emergency service for patients. Getting them out of pain via antibiotics and removal of teeth that are infected. We have fixed people’s dentures that have broken and recemented their front crowns so they can function properly at home with their families during this difficult time.

At present in line with guidance issued by the Irish Dental Association the treatments we can carry out are dental emergencies only. For clarity, dental emergencies include, but are not strictly limited to: severe dental pain, swelling, dental trauma and/or bleeding. If you have any concerns or wish to book an appointment please contact us for support and guidance.

We are available on the telephone (046) 9028683 and email enquiries@boynedental.ie Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm and Saturday 8am – 2pm. Our emergency clinics will run every morning in our Navan clinic.

We want to reassure everyone that we are taking all possible precautions to limit the transmission of the virus and appreciate your support in providing dental care in the safest possible manner during this time. If you have a raised temperature or new, continuous cough please follow national guidance and remain at home.

We are very proud of the Boyne Dental Family and we all look forward to seeing and caring for you in the normal way as soon as this unprecedented situation is over. In the mean time we will continue to support and care for our communities throughout this difficult time. Thank you for your loyalty and understanding.
