Maria started with us in mid 2025, but she first fell in love with dentistry when she was only five years old, after Santy brought her a Play-Doh “Drill and Fill” dentist toy!
She is currently in year 2 studying higher dental nursing in Athlone Technological University of the Shannon. She is due to finish there in April 2025, before graduating October 2025., and is gaining valuable experience with us every weekend.
Maria loves dentistry as it is a very rewarding career- in her own words; “seeing patients with happy smiles is the most fulfilling feeling”.
When she’s not working, she loves nothing better than walking her dogs and hiking, and she loves to travel at every opportunity!
