“I graduated as a dentist from University of Pécs, Hungary in 2013 and immediately went on to start my specialist orthodontist training at Semmelweis University of Budapest.
During those years I started working at a private practice in Ireland as a trainee orthodontist while still regularly flying back and forth to Hungary.
The real turning point came after I completed my specialist training and moved permanently to Ireland – I’ve been unquestionably calling it my home since 2016.
I originally planned to become an architect, but a last minute decision landed me in medical school instead, where my intuitive but equally logical and analytical personality led me to orthodontics during my first year. I immediately knew this is what I wanted to pursue in the future.
To this day I’m still amazed at what well-planned and precisely engineered orthodontics can do as I see my patient’s progress from one week to the other. In a sense, I feel like I did became an architect after all.
Outside work I enjoy keeping active and go to crossfit classes and hikes and I spend most of my freetime travelling.”
